Overcoming Post-truth Challenges: Is journalism education successful in Ukraine?

The article discusses the response efficiency of journalism education system to post-truth challenges. aim our research is find out whether higher Ukraine able provide media with quality professional staff ready for political participation, responsibility and upholding democratic values in conditions aggressive external information influence. experiment covered three groups: students general training, students, who additionally participated fact-checking trainings economics did not study basics literacy. survey results focus group discussion proved that future journalists show greater confidence their skills, but, fact, they are distinguish better truth, manipulation lies than economists All groups had vague ideas about these concepts tend trust statements seem familiar simple. Fact-checking do give an advantage identifying truth public statements. suggest urgent need new solutions on part education, community professionals train work conditions.
